1,000 Greatest Drivers: Buddy Baker
On superspeedways, he really cooked.
I had some RotoBaller assignments (both before and after the Duel races) to do as well as returning my dumpster, so I was a little late with this. I’m going to try to catch up with my goal of writing one a day by completing both my columns for Junior Johnson and his one-time driver hire Geoffrey (cough) Bodine tomorrow.
A couple weeks ago, I appeared on Who Cares About the Rock Hall?, a podcast about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which I have been listening to every week since it started in 2018. This isn’t something I’ve talked about much, but the host, stand-up comedian Joe Kwaczala, has been doing interviews with guests on his Patreon and I recorded an episode a couple weeks ago and it dropped today. It is paywalled ($5), but I suppose if you want to hear me talk about music (something I feel I’m rarely informed enough to talk about), there you go. This was one of the only things that was giving me any kind of joy while Mom is in the rehab center…
