1,000 Greatest Drivers: Sam Hornish, Jr.
Underrated because formula racing fans tend to sneer at drivers who struggle on road courses.
I probably won’t release columns as quickly in the near future now that I have this other work entering historical college basketball results as well as my already existing RotoBaller work, which I mentioned in the Danny Sullivan column. Since I am making $15 an hour for the sports data entry work and I’m definitely not making that on the Substack, it makes sense to focus on that when I need to make sure I have enough money for my next power and mortgage bill. If you want me to reduce the amount I’m charging to account for this, let me know in the comments. I didn’t get the Rick Mears column done because I was focused on the data entry, but I did decide to go to Heritage Hill trivia again and since the bus arrived there about 45 minutes early, I brought a notebook and pen and wrote most of this there before the trivia started, so at least I was productive with my time… I decided to write the Hornish column rather than the Mears column because I thought I needed to do less research for this one since I remember his entire career from watching at the time and I don’t remember Mears’s. Don’t get me wrong. I’m still going to make up the Mears column pretty soon, but it might not be immediate.
