2026 NASCAR Cup Series Statistical Table
Finally calculating some data for Current Year.
I didn’t write any driver posts, although I have a quite lengthy intro for my Benny Parsons post that I still haven’t finished yet that’s already written, so that will be next. I was primarily interested in the speed percentiles, and I calculated them on Monday after struggling to find the API data for NASCAR’s embedded statistics for a few hours that night. Once I did that, I decided to go through everything else. The neater version including the legend for all my statistical categories is here, but I cropped it to post it here as well. As you can see, Denny Hamlin leads nearly all categories related to on-track passing and dominance, but was curiously slower than I expected and T Gibbs and Christopher Bell actually both have higher speed percentiles. I was kind of surprised that William Byron was that much faster than Chase Elliott. I’m going to post the rest of this without comment because I spent way too long calculating this when I should have been doing many other things.

Hey Sean, I hope you are well. Can you check your Discord, please?
